![]() And two, it hits the company harder, so I have a stronger hand in negotiations. ![]() One, so they don't have a chance to interfere and discourage others from joining. Let me tell you, if I were going to organize a strike, I would do everything I can to avoid management knowing. When there is a concrete demand, the game presents it to you. And as the game told you, they're negotiating the terms. It's a failure in management (not yours) that you don't get word of it. Something blew up that caused the entire global union to go up in arms. You're running a large company, and not everything runs by you. That also means I can shut all my branches and cover costs through licensing my designs to the competition if the unions mess about again. ![]() I am however making excellent profits on that contract (well, until the factory staff go on strike I guess) which will fund global expansion post-war, and I've got my R&D teams working on multiple components so that I have a modern suite of offerings for the market. That does ironically mean that to support its nation's army contract I'm producing trucks from another country instead of using the modern capable factory that's local. Although I could repurpose a factory in my home country to produce munitions I just spent a lot of money upgrading it from 8 to 27 production lines and would really prefer it not to be destroyed. It was also a surprise that entire countries just shut down all operations during WWI. Monthly profits may look good but that's building me cover for things like, well, the unions going on strike. It's also somewhat odd that I'm having to pay above market rates as punishment for success when I have the lowest market capitalisation. I appreciate you're 'feature complete' without further funding, it's just frustrating having no warning and no tools to address an issue. I've bumped autowage relative to average, and found and turned on the autounion capability.
